Who doesn't love some delicious Thanksgiving goodies? We went around to our KJ Team and found some our own personal favorite recipes that our families make on Thanksgiving. We wanted to share those recipes with you, in case your in need of a quick side dish or dessert for this week (or if you just like eating)!
This cheese ball is the perfect appetizer as Thanksgiving guests start to roll in!
The great thing about this recipe is that it is so easy. You basically throw everything in a bowl, mix it together with your hands and voilà— you have yourself a delicious cheese ball appetizer. There is minimal chopping which is always a plus!
Be sure to let the cream cheese sit out for 30-45 minutes before you start using it. You can also warm it up with your hands. It can be really cold and harder to work with if it isn't softened.
You can use any type of shredded cheese that sounds good to you. Colby Jack is also delicious!
Throw the cream cheese, shredded cheese, chopped onions, Ranch seasoning and red peppers into a bowl. Depending on how much of a kick you like, you can add more or less of the red peppers.
**Optional: If you are wanting to add some meat, we suggest getting a packet of Buddig Beef and chopping it up into small pieces. Throw that into the bowl at this time as well.
Now, wash your hands and get in there! Mix everything together as well as you possibly can.
Once all is mixed in, shape into a ball.

If you purchased a bag with whole pecans, you will want to chop the pecans into smaller pieces. It makes it easier to stick to the cheese ball.
Pour the chopped pecans into the cheese ball. Gently press the nuts into the cheese ball and all around until completely covered.
And that's it! You're done!
Pick some of your favorite crackers to serve with the cheese ball!
