To keep your swimmer looking its best we recommend the following:
- Hand washing is highly recommended: Swimwear Fabric can be sensitive & will ruin while washing/drying in a machine.
- Use a mild detergent/soap bar to clean: do not bleach or use harsh detergents.
- Wash separately from other items: to avoid bleeding or discoloration.
- Always hang dry: the dryer is your swimmers worst enemy. We would not recommend you hang to dry in the sun; the sun will cause your swimmer to fade.
- Rinse out your swimmer with clean water after each wear.
- Remove bra pads after washing so they dry in the correct form.
- Cut off loose threads with scissors: never pull at strings or you may cause unraveling & ruin your swimmer.
- Hot water will dissolve the fibers in your swimmer more quickly, wear it down, & turn white/light colors yellow: try to avoid too many dips in the hot tub / hot springs.

Midnight teal is a great staple, it’s dark enough to hide my insecurities but more fun than my go to black. The ribbed material is very soft and stretchy.
After 10 years of wearing exclusively high waisted bottoms, I was nervous to give these a try but I’m so glad I took the risk. They feel stylish without skimping too much on coverage, and still work great to hide a postpartum belly. Definitely buying more.

I originally ordered the medium high waisted bottoms because I am slightly bigger on bottom than top. I usually wear a 4/27...but, for these the small was better. I have a small waist and larger butt and it covers well without gaping around the waist! Ordered several smalls during the sale.
The Tropics is very cute and the fabric seems like good quality. It is a bit on the bigger side in my opinion so if you’re in between sizes I’d recommend sizing down in this one. I’m a 12/14 in jeans and I went with Large but could have gotten away with a Medium.
