Waterparks are our favorite places in the world! Say goodbye to work clothes + adulting and hello to swimmers + tubes + the best day ever! Today we are coming at you with the ultimate water park bucket list, full of waterparks that you must see and enjoy! Talk about a bucket list everyone can get behind!
If you haven’t visited our very own local waterpark, let us know when you go and we’ll meet you there! Splash Summit waterpark features 11 water slides (for both tubes and mats) as well as three different swimming pools. We grew up visiting and loving this little waterpark so it definitely has a special place in our hearts. (You may even recognize it from some of our past photos!)
If you’re visiting Salt Lake City and want to cool down at a nearby waterpark, Cowabunga Bay is a twenty minute drive of fun! This waterpark has a 1960s theme and is decorated with surfboards, sandcastles, and a Volkswagen. With 12 levels, over 300 water toys, and a 1,500-gallon dump bucket, kids and adults are bound to have a good time!
Built on a former railroad yard, Sandcastle Waterpark features 15 waterslides, a wave pool, a lazy river, a pool with a mushroom-shaped waterfall, and plenty of shallow play areas for your littles. Whether you’re lounging, thrill-seeking, or downing loaded Potato Patch fries {a local specialty} Sandcastle is a good time!
Ever been on a water slide that feeds you into the mouth of a snake?! Noah’s Ark is known as the “Water Park Capital of the World” and has over 50 attractions. Their Raja slide is a side-by-side tube racer that sends you speeding around 335 feet of track before plunging you 37 feet into the mouth of a king cobra! Sounds like fun! Let’s go!
This German-themed waterpark is definitely worth a visit! With 51 slides + attractions, Schlitterbahn has become one of America’s most well-known waterparks. I mean, a castle with eight tube chutes?! Sounds like our kind of waterpark! We’ve heard the thrilling Master Blaster is the star of the show since it’s an uphill water coaster 🤯
Customize your very own raft with soft Lego bricks for the lazy river at Legoland Waterpark! Builders, young and old, will love this park’s Lego-themed rides, slides, and splash pads. Some of their most noteworthy attractions are the Lion Temple Wave Pool’s arch {made with 260,000+ Legos} and a designated spot for kids to build + race boats!
Say hello to the waterpark of country music and family-friendly fun! You may need more than one day to explore the 13 acres of rides and slides at this waterpark. From Aloha River to Kalani Towers Drop Slides, every member of your crew will have a good time with smiles on their faces.
According to Cedar Point, life needs more getaways and we couldn’t agree more! Overlooking Lake Erie, this waterpark has been hosting beachgoers for years! Featuring both baby rides and exciting slides, Cedar Point Shores has 17 water attractions for visitors to enjoy. And if you’re done with water fun, just hop on over to their amusement park of 18 world-class roller coasters!
This waterpark is known for having the world’s two longest water coasters {Mammoth and Wildebeest} making it a must-visit attraction on our list! Wildebeest is full of hills, drops, twists, and turns, guaranteed to make you smile and laugh! And we’re definitely onboard for the conveyor-style lift as opposed to stairs. No better place to rock your KJ swimmers and have a whole day of fun!
No waterpark list would be complete without a little Disney magic in the mix. If you haven’t had the chance to enjoy Disney’s ski resort themed park, now’s your chance. With a 120 foot tall Summit Plummet water slide and the Tike’s Peak toddler play area, there’s something for everyone in your crew to enjoy. And you know you’ll see characters at some point in your visit.
