Christmas lights make everything a little big more magical, don't they? There are tons of places all around Utah for you & yours to see the lights.

Here are 10 of the best Christmas light displays that you need to see:

1. Lights at Temple Square

Visiting the lights at Temple Square is a holiday tradition for many Utahns. Families and friends bundle up to walk around and see the thousands of lights, visit the life-size nativity, and warm up to hot cocoa. Hop on over to City Creek after for dinner, treats and shopping.

The Temple Square Lights start the day after Thanksgiving and are up until New Year's Day. The lights are turned on at dusk until 10:00pm, except on New Year's Eve until 12:30am. Check out this link to see the other activities & concerts available at Temple Square during the Christmas season. 

2. ZooLights! at Utah's Hogle Zoo

Utah's Hogle Zoo turns into a lit up winter wonderland during the holiday season, and you definitely don't want to miss out on the 200+ light displays. It's open from December 1-31 (except Christmas day). Check out their website for pricing and other information. 

3. Tree of Life at Draper City Park

Over the past few years, Draper City has started a new tradition that is attracting people from all over. They light up the largest willow tree at Draper City Park with over 1,000 strands of lights, creating what is called The Tree of Life. It is quite a sight to see. Located at 12500 S. 1300 E. in Draper. 

4. Luminaria at Thanksgiving Point

New this year, Thanksgiving Point has put one of the most fabulous light shows in Utah County Luminaria. Thanksgiving Point events never disappoint, so this is definitely something you will want to check out, and possibly make a new tradition for your family. Check here for tickets. 

5. Christmas in Color

 Located in Kearns and Provo, Christmas in Color is a drive-through holiday light show set to music. Stay in your warm car while you drive through millions of Christmas lights set to your favorite Christmas tunes. For dates and tickets, check out their website. 

6. Christmas in the Village at Gardner Village

Gardner Village goes all out at Christmas time hanging up lights and decorating. There's nothing quite like a quaint village with shops dressed up for the holiday season. More than just lights, they have other festive activities and delicious food to eat. You don't want to miss out on this fun night out! Visit their website for more details.

 

7. The Shops at Riverwoods

The Riverwoods in Provo is a great designation for holiday lights all season long. Not only are there beautiful lights to see, but you can sit on Santa's lap, hear live music on the weekends and ride the FREE holiday train through the lights. 8. Christmas Village in Ogden

Modeled after Santa's Village at the North Pole, Ogden has put together activities and events for you and your family to enjoy as you walk through the festive lights. For more information, check our their website. 

9. Smart & Richardson Christmas Light Show

10. Festival of Lights in Spanish Fork

The city of Spanish Fork is putting on the 24th Annual Festival of Lights running now until New Year's Day! It's a drive-through Christmas light display set to holiday music that you can listen to by tuning into 99.9 FM on your radio. Pricing is pretty cheap, so be sure to head to their website for more information!
