Now’s the time to preserve our precious memories and look back at them often with National Save Your Photos Day! Celebrated on the last Sunday of September every year, it’s time to make sure your photos don’t get left behind!
BRING OUT PHOTO ALBUMS
Do you or your parents have those giant photo albums in storage rooms or on bookshelves, collecting dust? Bring them out and start organizing them with labels. Family albums contain many hidden treasures so don’t hesitate to dive right into them. Take it a step further and scan the pages into a drive so you have a backup if the originals are ever lost.

It’s always a good idea to back up your pictures into an external hard drive or a cloud service like Google Photos. And the best part? It should only take you a few minutes. Get started as soon as you can so you never lose those memories.

If you’re like us, you’re moving into a world that is purely digital. So making a digital archive might be perfect for you! Just find yourself a scanner and start scanning all of your photos in order to digitize them. Then you can store them into an archive or a hard drive.
