Love Yourself: Nicole Strong

Today's feature from our Body Image shoot is the magnificent Nicole Strong. This stunning momma spends her days embracing life with her adorable family and sharing it with us via Instagram (follow her @luvtostroll).
Nicole Strong

Size: 5' 8"
Top: 2/4, xsmall, tiny bust
Bottom: 2/4, small
Style: Low-key, sporty and casual, I have a lot of kids so I have to be ready quick and be prepared to be active.

What would you describe as your body type?

A Pear, I have a tiny bust, small waist, and thicker bottom.

What features do you like to accentuate?

    My waist and my shoulders.

If you could describe your personal style in one word, what would it be?

    Low-key.

How did you feel in your Kortni Jeane swimmer?

Super confident and super mobile. I can move and not have to adjust any areas. It’s modest without being too grandma-y, sexy modest.

How important is self confidence when you’re in a swimsuit?

Low confidence restricts you so much. Especially with my kids, I don’t want to negatively affect the way my 12 year old daughter sees her own body. I don’t want her to grow up worrying about her weight or image, so my confidence will hopefully influence hers.

Who would you say is your style icon and influencer and why?

Lululemon for normal casual. For cute and functional, Madewell.

Are you more of an active water adventurer or lounge poolside goddess?

I am more of an active water person. I would lounge by the pool, but kids make that a little tricky. It’s important to have a swimmer that lets me transition to both.

What are some of your favorite summer activities?

We love to go to the lake, especially Lake Powell. Also hiking and tons of outdoor activities.

If you could be any mythical creature, what would you be?

    A flying unicorn.

this person is beautiful, she seem sweet and stylish and confident and yea!! however, it seems a little silly to represent her body shape as pear given that she is a size 2/4 and wearing smalls and extra small. love the body confidence series, but need a litlte more size/shape diversity.
